Get yourselves down Sheffield tonight as with this being the final week before the Easter holiday Jimbo Studios’ very own Joe Solway has organised a massive piss up and its going to get very messy!

The event will be a pub crawl from the Sheffield Uni patch of the city, down to the Sheffield Hallam University patch and Solway himself challenges you to make it all the way with him!

The event looks set to draw a massive crowd with many people returning from Universitys accross the country back to Sheffield for easter and what better way than to begin the holiday with a big bar crawl! 

If your a local Jimbo Studios fan you maybe a former pupil of Ecclesfield School or student of Thomas Rotherham college or maybe your studying at Univeristy here you are bound to see some familure or old faces (not grannies) on what is set to be a hectic night out! (Getting down wi the new lanaguage there)

Also the Solway has requested that if possible people wear t-shirt and tie combinations (lyric from the Arctic monkeys new song) to celebrate this piss up in style.

 Here are the details

Meet at 7 o’clock - 7.30pm in either Bar One or the Swim Inn both located on West Street in Sheffield

 T-Shirt and Tie combinations will be worn by many so this would be prefered but if you cant then no worries!

Bring friends if you wish because the more the merrier!

We hope to finish the evening in a night club down near the hallam university patch of the town

 

Jimbo Studios are pleased to present to you a music video for local Sheffield band Milburn. for their a track ‘Last Bus’ made by A-Level media students.
Debra Reilly and Mark Fielding of Thomas Rotherham college asked Jimbo Studios for help with the filming and ideas for video.
Debra and Mark then went away and did all the editing to produce this brilliant video.

Look out for Jimbo Studios’ very own Joe Solway (The Solway) starring in the video with Steph Lax.

There has been a shooting at the University of Loughborough where Jimbo Studios video diary boy Chris Fisher is currently studying.

A concert by American hip-hop band Pretty Ricky was being played and it was open to attend for everyone, towards the end of the night a scuffle started and some CS gas was let off and a woman was punched in the face then gun shots were fired apparantly towards the bouncer.

We can confirm that "The Fish Tank" host Chris Fisher is unharmed and is safe in his room ‘tanking’ again.

Here is a statement from Chris Fisher earlier today when we spoke to him over the phone about the situatuation

"To all my fans out there, as you may be aware there was a shooting at loughborough university that took place approximately 100 yards away from my room, I would like to inform all my fans that on Saturday night I was in bed by midnight as I was tired from the long session I had had in the gym where I can not only lift all the heaviest weights but I’m so muscular that I can also lift the gym up in the air, I haven’t being injured by any gunshots, nor have I had any involvment in the shooting and would like to reassure Fish-Tank viewers that I am able to continue recording, however should I every do a bad recording it will be because of the shock I am still in.

I am also thinking of informing the police about this crime being connected to another crime which was the thief at gunpoint of my monkey in episode 4 of the Fish-Tank

I’m sure you can all sleep easily in your beds tonight knowing I’m safe.

Jimbo Studios are delighted to introduce to you another band who will feature on the website in the music section shorlty. They are called the Alturnative and have gathered a good following in the last year and this is a music video made for them taken from a couple of gigs they have done in Sheffield recently, The Grapes and the famous Boardwalk. The band will be realeasing an EP shortly which we will let you know the details of as soon as possible. Here the band are performing the energetic song "Fooligans"
