Welcome to the JIMBLOG! This is just a place Im going to update every now and again with news of whats happening on the website and any plans new ideas that I can let you in on. Also if I find any interesting new music that I think you may enjoy than I shall post them on here. Also I’l be casting my eye over television and the internet looking for anything interesting and worth a look at, that will then also be posted on here! AND as If thats not enough already also there shall be an events section here which will include things such as nights out that any one would like to take part in.

Christmas is just around the corner and Jimbo Studios has loads of treats lined up for you with all the festivities starting from the 1st of December so make sure you check the website everyday as there will be loads of Christmas Specials including the Jimbo Studios Natavity Play.
The decline of Chris Callaghan Christmas special is currently in the making and will be the big finale to the series which had a very good response from the people who watched it, Chris Callaghan was last seen in episode 6 boarding a plane to leave the country, however the plane exploded in mid-air so whether Callaghan survived the crash is not yet known! The Christmas special will hold all the answers! If you havent seen the decline of Chris Callaghan and want to catch up then click here.

The Fish Tank is also getting to a grand old age now as he approaches the year mark! He also has his own facebook fanclub so if your on facebook and havent joined then click here and join the revolution which is the Fish Tank Fan club, a place your free to post as much abuse aimed at him as possible!

Last years Anonymous Celebrity Jimbo Studios album is now available to listen to in full by clicking here to take you to the music section and there will soon be a music video online for the song Live from the Shower.
Also the brand new Jimbo Studios album is also coming on well, 6 new tracks have now been recorded and we can expect the music to be available on cd and to listen to on the internet around the Christmas period.

And finally there will also be a new Word on the street Episode online very shortly. So lots to look forward to keep checking back!

 

 

 

What to watch!

The great Mighty Boosh has started once again for its 3rd series on BBC 3. Vince Noir, Howard Moon and the gang are this time running Nabootique, a 2nd hand store! The cockney hitcher makes a return and a new character who is said to be a Fox on crack turns up! Interesting and very random as usual! The mighty boosh is on Thursday nights on BBC 3 at 10.30 but you can watch them online before hand on the BBC website.

Also Ricky Gervais’s hit series Extras is to return for a final episode which will be an 80 minute Christmas special. Ricky Gervais character "Andy Millman" a film extra - turned celebrity is on the decline and decides to take part in reality TV programme Celebrity Big Brother!! Bound to be Funny. I’m a celebrity get me out of here…why?…..none of them are really celebritys anymore even if they are, they wont be for long!

How to look good naked….why?…Basically its a gay bloke getting fat women undressed and telling them they look good…they dont look good its just a gay bloke telling white lies to the extreme!

 

 

 

Well we are constantly hearing news of an Alex Turner (Arctic Monkeys) solo type album in which he collabotates with Miles Kane (of The Rascals) and James Ford (the producer of the Favourite Worst Nightmare album) According to sources we could be hearing this mystery album early 2008! Apparantly the album by Alex Turner and Miles Kane is already finished and ready to be released. Well we hope so! www.arctic-monkeys.com will always have the lastest information on this so its worth to keep checking back there! Also a band to look out for early in 2008 are a band from Liverpool called The Rascals (yes thats the Miles Kane band Ive Just mentioned.) There debut album is set to be released before the Alex Turner and Miles Kane album. The Rascals are a very simular band to the Arctic Monkeys sounding slightly heavier and after listening to a few of there tracks, theyve got the thumbs up from Jimbo Studios.

Also Jimbo Studios along with the Solway were lucky enough to get to see a Reverend and the Makers gig and Leeds! They were brilliant and the Reverend even came out after the gig to play an extra hour on his acoustic guitar! A great band who have deserved all their recent chart success

 

Events…

Nothing to report at the moment but the two monday nights before Christmas (not including Christmas eve) will almost certainly be nights to come on down Sheffield! Im sure some kind of barcrawl all or fancy dress will be arranged for these dates closer to Christmas!
